Less is more

We can only handle a small amount of information in our brain at one time. This was thought by NLP founders, Bandler and Grinder to be between seven and nine pieces of information but now may be as little as only four according to author David Rock.

So it’s useful to be aware when briefing a team or a colleague, or talking to a friend, that they can only absorb so much before a glazed expression appears in their eyes. And for menopausal women reduce the pieces of information down to one or two as concentration can flag!
